Serpents and Pyramids
At the heart of community empowerment lies leadership, and our "Serpents and Pyramids" project brings this to life through the power of gamification. Inspired by the classic snakes and ladders concept, this interactive game explores the challenges and triumphs of community leadership, teaching participants how their actions can shape the world around them.
Hosted at Brixton’s iconic 198 Gallery, and led by Ruth, our International Chair, and Nathaniel, our Vice Chair, the project engaged participants in real-world scenarios that reflect the needs of their communities. Every "Pyramid" represented a step forward through positive leadership, while every "Serpent" challenged players to rethink ineffective decisions.
The result? A deeper understanding of leadership’s impact and how collaboration can tackle the systemic issues facing underserved communities. "Serpents and Pyramids" is more than a game—it’s a blueprint for change.
